Monographs of the Western North American Naturalist
Monographs of the Western North American Naturalist publishes work on the biological natural history of western North America. Typically these articles are longer than those in the associated journal, Western North American Naturalist.
Scope

Monographs of the Western North American Naturalist publishes peer-reviewed original research pertaining to the biological natural history of western North America (i.e., United States west of the Mississippi River, Mexico, and western Canada). Typically, monograph articles are of a breadth and length that exceeds the specifications of the associated quarterly journal Western North American Naturalist.

Aims: Over the years the monograph series has firmly established itself as a forum for reporting original research on natural history topics and research methods, both descriptive and analytical. Our goal is not only to continue but to expand this publishing tradition.

Scope: Monographs of the Western North American Naturalist places neither restriction nor preference on manuscripts within the disciplines of the biological sciences.
